What your child will need
Most children wear the pre-school uniform and the cost of one t-shirt and a drawstring bag for spare clothes, plimsolls etc is included in your registration fee. Children do not have to wear the uniform, but it does save their good clothes and having to decide what to wear each day. Additional T-shirts and sweatshirts with the pre-school logo and replacement draw string bags are available to buy from the pre-school by using the Order Form which can be downloaded from our website.
Footwear, in particular, must be safe, as your child might be playing on a climbing frame and slide, sit and ride toys or use our colourful parachute. Closed in shoes are a must to save them getting scrapped when playing racing games or caught when using climbing equipment. We request that all children bring black plimsolls or slippers in a bag, both clearly named, in which to change into at pre-school.
It would be helpful if cardigans, coats, hats and shoes were all clearly labelled, as children do not always recognise their own things!
If your child has pierced ears, please ensure that they only wear stud style earrings to pre-school.[/vc_column_text]
[/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/4″]The staff are really friendly without exception and ready to answer any queries myself or my husband have. Reuben has some allergies and our keyworker, Cheryl, has been brilliant about ensuring Reuben’s particular needs are catered for. I have every confidence that in the unlikely event he should fall ill at pre-school, any member of staff would look after him as we would.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Danbury Pre-School to anyone looking for somewhere for their child to attend during the pre school years. My two older boys certainly gained many skills and a lot of confidence before starting school thanks to attending this pre-school.
