Danbury Pre-School is a long established pre-school in the village of Danbury, Essex with great relationships with the two local primary schools, Danbury Park Community Primary School and St John’s Church of England Primary School.  

For more than 45 years we have provided pre-school care and education to children in Danbury and the surrounding communities and we are delighted to have recently moved to our new home, a purpose built pre-school in the grounds of St Johns Church of England Primary School, Little Baddow Road, Danbury. 

Our new building is light and spacious with access to outside space including a “treasure island” themed safety surfaced play area and wonderful indoor facilities including IT, book corner, a wet play space and purpose built toilets and washbasins.

Danbury Pre-School take children from age 2 up to 5 in both sessional and 9am-3pm day care during usual school term times.  Our pre-school day sessions are for children aged 3+.  Our qualified staff offer a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children to learn and develop in.  We actively encourage 'learning through play' enabling our children to grow in confidence and thrive in future learning situations. We offer a curriculum which enables children to progress towards the Early Learning Goals.

Hot Lunches
We are working in partnership with St. John's school to offer those children who stay for lunch the opportunity to have a hot meal. The cost of each dinner is £2 per day. The menu is on a three week rotation and can be viewd by clicking here.

Danbury Pre-School is regulated by Ofsted and a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance (the umbrella organisation for pre-schools and nurseries).
